We've got tourney! After some hard work and a few distractions, we now have everything in order at Bugsy's Club for CheckRayz Poker Tourneys. I'll be adding more tourneys between now and the end of the year, however, let's focus for the moment on Bugsy's Club happenings with CheckRayz.

Bugsy's Club has agreed to provide us a Poker League. This league will be a poker tour inside a poker tour for us. Look at the Leaderboard at CheckRayz as an overall "player of the year" manner (though this is the final half of 2006, actually). And look at the Bugsy's Club CheckRayz League as a smaller tour that counts for both itself and player of the year honors.

Here's how it works:

There will be 11 events (I may have wrote 12 somewhere). Anyway, 11 tournaments, which will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 9.05pm EST from Wednesday Nov 29th through Friday December 22nd. These tournaments will be $1+.10, donkfest rules (Rebuy-addon hour number one) apply. CheckRayz leaderboard points will be assigned as per normal routine. Additionally, Bugsy's Club will have a leaderboard for our league.

Each tourney will pay out as per the normal payout schedule. At the end of the league, the top ranked league player, per the CheckRayz League Leaderboard at Bugsy's Club will be paid out top prize of $150. Second place receives $100, and third place $50.

This is a new concept to CheckRayz and should prove to be both exciting and challenging.

I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Mike
