CheckRayz 2006 Leaderboard To be Reset 03/31 - plans for quarterly format

CheckRayz have announced they will be doing a quarterly poker tournament leaderboard. Each year, there will be four leaderboard tours. At the end of each tour, there will be three exclusive leaderboard events. The first of which will be an invitational freeroll, in which all people who received Leaderboard points will be eligable for the quarter. The second will be the Leaderboard showdown, a money added tournament exclusive to the CheckRayz leaderboard's top ten.

The leaderboard invitational tournament is meant to be a "player's appreciation" tourney, made to reward both strong play and loyalty. The top ten tourney is designed to crown the quarterly champion. Plans are also in the works to host an end of the year champion's tourney, to include the winners of each of the invitational tourneys as well as the leaderboard showdown winners. This event will also be a ten person money added sit n go. In the event there are duplicate winners, CheckRayz will "award" seats as admin sees appropriate to fill the table.

Further details, including date, location, and money added will be announced later this month for the first quarter leaderboard invitational. Details on the 2006 leaderboard showdown event will be announced later in he year. Additionally, the leaderboard will be expanded this week on the CheckRayz site to show the entire leaderboard.

Tommorrow, we're back to strategy, continuing on with our talk on endgame.
